Question #1

So according to the politicians we (the State of Hawaii) are broke?! Let's see, the great soothsayers built a budget estimate, based on money expected to come in. It didn't and now they gotta have more? So of course they raise the taxes on gas and smokes, to give to public programs (well, some of the programs are public, others are just private enterprises sponsored by the State government and are kinda sorta legal - maybe). So if that's the case -

Here's the question -



Why do we have a state budget if the state is gonna always spend more than we (the smuck's paying taxes) gave them to spend in the first place?

S - State and federal
T - Taxes (you know the money ripped from our wallets and childrens mouths)
R - Recklessly
U - Used for
N - Nothing
G - Good
For those who are perhaps less than pleased by the state of the State, or perhaps some other aspect of our current times, this is the place to vent. I ask only that when you do so, do so intelligently..use words with more than one syllable - but by all means vent away!!!
